Interface unit for connecting underwater devices, PC and portable computers “DeepMaster Interface”.
The manufacturers of portable computers (notebooks) keep rejecting low-speed ports and communication protocols, thus, do not include COM ports into computers replacing them by USB port which lately gain growing popularity. The manufacturers of underwater computers do not get around to solve the problem through creating an interface that could also support USB port. Only some the most recent models support the USB port. “DeepMaster Interface” (USB-UART) would create virtual COM port in your computer which would make an opportunity to exchange information with your underwater device through USB cable without installing alternative software developed for operating with COM port.
“DeepMaster Interface” (UART) costs three times less than standard interfaces employed for connecting computers to underwater devices.
Using “DeepMaster Interface” you could also connect your GPS receiver to the USB port. You could also easily connect a device to the SUUNTO, MARES, UWATEC equipment etc., as well as to SONY Clie T/NR/NX/SL/SJ.
